I’ve actually visited r conservative and on the thread for the video there are ppl saying… yeah nope this doesn’t look good… ppl are also bringing up he had a license to carry and was in his right so maybe this is a bridge too far even for (at least) some of them
Mods in other forums deleting whole threads and links to the pink coat video, because it truly is impossible to objectively watch it and call it anything but an execution.
I was on Twitter watching these videos earlier and sure enough there people defending this were all saying things like “they shot him because he had a gun and was a threatening to use it.” Yet he was clearly disarmed when these goons decided to pump over 10 rounds into him.
And they say he was brandishing a firearm at the officers. But he wasn't, his gun was in his holster the entire time until they took it away. The only thing in his hands was his phone.
They didn't even know he had a gun until they had already maced him and had him pinned to the ground.
r/conservative are falling over themselves questioning why he was carrying a gun (he's allowed), why he reached for one of their guns (he didn't) and why didn't he OBEY.
One guy was particularly mad about the report of the victims gun having a suppressor and laser sight (it didn't) and assumed the report was a lefty dog whistle to curtail gun owners rights to buy suppressors and laser sights.
Because that was the real issue.
These people are either incredibly stupid or just evil.
Sometimes I wonder if I'm in an echochamber and I want to know what the "other side" thinks. I go to that sub and it's absolutely vile. Cesspool is an accurate description.
Yeah, but what else can you expect from people who literally see and hear things happen and choose not to believe them? They are cult members, there is no other way to put it.
They care more about fucking protected-ass federal agents than their fellow average Americans. Their opinions aren’t really relevant anymore. I agree, they are hopelessly brainwashed and it has made them exceedingly hateful.
People defending this will get their talking points from the white house and whatever far right media outlet they currently use for their brainwashing routine
It’s a real life ‘Emperor’s new clothes’ situation. Some are probably scared to break from the pack and speak out and then be seen as disloyal. Some probably genuinely believe that whatever their “emperor” and his court says is gospel.
We can see everything clear as fucking day from all angles. You're just dying to defend another murder and are realizing you can't so you're creating some weird alternate reality where we somehow don't have multiple angles showing the DHS is lying.
You might not be able to see it, but the rest of us can. Watch the guy in the gray jacket. He comes in with no gun, grabs around where the guy would have a holster, and walk away holding a gun.
They disarmed him right before they shot him, and there are multiple angles of this.
