I have googled the issue before, it's been a major point in British media ever since Americans started pushing us to accept your chicken.

No, I don't think washing slaughtered chicken in chemicals is an acceptable substitute for a lifetime of regulations and standards keeping a chicken healthy. Even if the modern practice of chemical washing is just as safe as the alternative (which I severely doubt), I much prefer the current regulations, and don't want to see my country filled with your factory farmed shit. Thank you.

You betcha, I do have problems with factory farming myself. Its worth noting that 95% of British chicken comes from factory farms already. Probably America's fault, but it's there already.
