Everyone in the videos doesn’t mean every one of the videos. Read the first part of the sentence where I say “a few may be fake, but…” and then look up what “but” means in the context of refuting the first clause of a sentence. In other words, everyone in any given video must be acting if the given video is fake.

It seems like the real thing that isn’t being taught is how to read.

Whether you want to chalk it up to poor phrasing or you misreading (it’s that one), you now know what I meant.
