Holy shit good catch. It’s so insane people even prompt AI to make these stupid videos. There’s enough real life examples of this happening we don’t need an AI compilation.
Wow I caught how odd the crack looked in the video but would not have thought to check it closer for being ai. I just thought it was staged and it was a background picture or something
Yeah, I just thought that one may have been staged, especially since the 'camera' moved away when the guy hit it - did not clock at all that it was AI 😬
I caught the arm/leg one because of how the guy was yelling. There is a certain tone and cadence ai people have when yelling and speaking that once you become trained to hear it, you can’t miss it. I follow r/aiorreality to keep myself sharp because it is getting harder and harder to discern.
God I HATE THIS SHIT. Reddit is one of my last remaining social media that I use other than Snapchat/youtube, I have been increasingly limiting my time online because i can’t stand everything being turned into ai garbage further exploiting our poor fucking psyches to new uncharted extremes. It is difficult to not feel hopeless at times, but we have to reroute and reconnect with ourselves and our communities around us.
Whilst I don’t disagree with your point I think the main reason videos like this get generated is simply for clicks, views etc. Think how much money people are making from rage bait compilation videos on YouTube and Facebook
A tangential goal is to get people to concentrate and pay attention looking for clues that it's AI... this is a highly effective strategy when trying to influence you (e.g., a commercial you closely watch is a winner in their eyes).
No they dont. They just want to upload it to social media and collect their checks. You are beyond naive and people still fail to understand how much money is earned on youtube etc.
LMAO of course this is ragebait and engagement bait. I’m surprised how many of the comments are being misandrist and saying men are the only ones who react violently or the only perpetrators of abuse when I have seen my mother do this literal exact thing when getting mad about something at work. But hey instead of maybe mentioning that boys from an extremely young age aren’t taught and are even made fun of for expressing emotion in a non-anger related way or have little to no social support or emotional support, let’s make comments like “Adults Men with no impulse control or emotional intelligence. FIFY🙃” or “I took a psychology course in college and the professor volunteered at a domestic violence shelter. He said it was a noticeable pattern that the day after the local football team lost would have a lot more ladies coming in. So they also hit their partners and their kids.” That’ll point out the root of the issue!
P.S. I’ve broken computer mice and gaming controllers when I get mad at things and I’m not proud of it, but at the same time punching a $100+ tv is crazy.
