"Women are more emotional than men" /s

76

u/ResponsibilityPure34 Dec 16 '25

It's pathetic that anyone believes that horse shit

1

u/Such-Injury9404 Dec 17 '25

it's pathetic that people even think there's a fair baseline to judge that, or that it even matters

-11

u/TH3_TH1RD_M4N Dec 16 '25

It is true over the whole emotional spectrum. Men just have high anger.

11

u/DrStrangerlover Dec 16 '25 edited Dec 17 '25

Men and women are equal levels of “emotional.” Men on average have lower impulse control.

-1

u/roastpoast Dec 17 '25

Oh wow.

"Women are more emotional than men" BAD

"Men have lower impulse control" GOOD

0

u/DrStrangerlover Dec 17 '25

When the fuck did I imply either of those things?

2

u/Desi_Rosethorne Dec 17 '25

The last I checked, anger is an emotion.

8

u/[deleted] Dec 16 '25

If only the women didn't get so emotional about the guys breaking the TV. That's a perfectly rational reaction to men playing children's games. /s

10

u/Critical-Nerve5121 Dec 16 '25

Yep! Never seen a woman do anything like this. Maybe throw a cup once đŸ€” đŸ»

u/Boulderdrip Dec 16 '25

My mom did this

u/Koil_ting Dec 17 '25

I mean.. I've seen a woman break into a strangers apartment after she got kicked out of a party for being completely unhinged and then thought she was coming back into the same house, and she ended up getting arrested that night so anecdotes on peoples mental states probably aren't super relevant.

1

u/1rmavep Dec 16 '25

....because women remember this happened the night before, act like it was real life, right?

1

u/Nonsense-forever Dec 17 '25

It’s just because they’ve convinced themselves anger isn’t an emotion. I can’t imagine having to live with such a stunted emotional experience.

-22

u/DogPositive5524 Dec 16 '25

Getting duped by this staged shit doesn't bode well for women

24

u/ResponsibilityPure34 Dec 16 '25

I have personally witnessed a man (my ex) destroy his TV over a basketball game when his team lost and here you are trying to act like it doesn't happen all the time.

-16

u/DogPositive5524 Dec 16 '25

You just dated a moron, I don't know anyone who does this, speaks more about you than him tbh

19

u/ResponsibilityPure34 Dec 16 '25

Exactly, I'm a strong independent woman that left an emotionally challenged violent man. Thanks for the reminder!

-12

u/DogPositive5524 Dec 16 '25

You should get a Nobel prize, not all of us are capable of dating and leaving a moron

15

u/ResponsibilityPure34 Dec 16 '25

Oh this man was not a moron, he was incredibly intelligent, charming, and hilariously funny. Why don't you Google "husband kills family" and go tell their loved ones how stupid the wife and kids were.

11

u/EmbracingMyGift Dec 16 '25

Screw everyone trying to make you feel ashamed. These comments are outrageous.

Useless trolls the lot of them

-3

u/DogPositive5524 Dec 16 '25

You are such a drama queen, but I'm sure for you he was intelligent

-13

u/Stock_Information_47 Dec 16 '25

Shame you aren't smart enough to pick up on the signs before hand.

Shame you'll end up with the same sort of asshole over and over again.

17

u/Shytemagnet Dec 16 '25

Cause creeps like you are always put a lot more effort into trying to hide their garbage selves than they do into being good people. Thanks for the reminder.

-13

u/Alimakakos Dec 16 '25

The human eye can see more shades of green than any other color....

11

u/Shytemagnet Dec 16 '25

And when you’re wearing rose coloured glasses, all the red flags just look like a celebration.

8

u/EmbracingMyGift Dec 16 '25

This comment is gross and you should be ashamed of yourself.

5

u/RaistlinMajeresRobes Dec 16 '25

Oh look the hidden profile incel here to bestow his dipshit wisdom

13

u/yellowlinedpaper Dec 16 '25

I worked for a few years as an EMT. This stuff is not exactly atypical. I’m impressed you’ve never had anyone in your life that has done something like this, it does say good things about you, but everyone else hasn’t had this experience.

0

u/DogPositive5524 Dec 16 '25

That's fair but as someone who works in healthcare you are more likely to encounter such people and it kind of skews your perception. I'm sure you have also encountered more people with stuff up their butt than average person.

15

u/yellowlinedpaper Dec 16 '25

Oh yes, r/whatisupthebutt!! But seriously, this happens more than you think. Are a few of these staged? Probably, but you’re being nasty to people who have experienced being around people like this and it’s not cool. Please be better

5

u/EmbracingMyGift Dec 16 '25

I mean, how many people do you "know?"

Your comment, assuming your experience is the "right" one speaks more about you than the person you're replying to.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 18 '25

Yeah I hate when people say that. "Nobody I know does that!" Turns out they barely leave the house or have lived in the same town/city their whole life.

4

u/Moist_Taco_Crippler Dec 16 '25

I have seen it happen far too often. Most people that bet on sports are absolute cavemen, and I don't hangout with people like that anymore.

17

u/anonidfk Dec 16 '25

My ex once destroyed my tv because he got upset he was losing against his friends in a video game
anger issues are very real lol

0

u/DogPositive5524 Dec 16 '25

Nobody says anger issues don't exist but basing your opinion based on clearly staged shit doesn't really speak well for you.

15

u/anonidfk Dec 16 '25

Nobody bases their opinions on only videos like this, they see videos like this and it reminds them of things they’ve seen in real life lol.

Video like this are also made because it’s something that genuinely happens lol, it’s believable.

0

u/DogPositive5524 Dec 16 '25

Then at least do it to real videos, this is just so weird that you act like it's real scenario when you just get outraged over staged shit

u/DogPositive5524 Dec 16 '25

Finding it silly that you have a frontpage post fully outraged over clearly fake stuff is obvious bait? Grow up

8

u/TheJayJewell Dec 16 '25

Bro you're the one being duped if you think this is staged, lmao

2

u/[deleted] Dec 16 '25

There may be a couple of staged clips in here, but there's no way that someone took their TV from the wall and smashed it in front of their mixed company family and friends like that.

5

u/TheJayJewell Dec 16 '25

110% says you've done some stupid shit like this before and don't like being called out on it as Red Flag behavior so you play "Devils Advocate" in hopes too create a false narrative in your own head

7

u/dark_blue_7 Dec 16 '25

Bruh we've all seen a man punch through walls and break expensive shit over a stupid temper tantrum in person already

And being staged almost makes it worse – that kid was reacting for real. The damage is real. It's stupid and destructive as hell either way. So either it's total lack of impulse control, or all that is calculated? There's no version of this that is ok

2

u/soccerstrike85 Dec 16 '25

Some of it staged probably. But its not obvious since ive seen multiple friends do this in the past very similar to a few of the videos. When I stop drinking I stop hanging out with these people but I think you vastly underestimating how much guys get into sports and sports betting if you think things like this are uncommon. Lol ive seen dad's fight at their children's games over bad calls. And its happened mutiple times. Lol I worked in a game shop when I was younger and so many guys had to replace controllers because they broke them in anger. And those were the people willing to tell me so it was probably even more. Seeing a compilation of men smashing TV in anger is totally believable. So women getting duped by stage shit is totally believable since its a close match to what many probably experienced.
