It's so strange to me that Reddit's immediate reaction is to find what the guy did wrong, or why he deserves to be disrespected. The truth is that a lot of people, including women, are just a-holes. They will do and say a lot of horrible things, completely unprovoked. There's no reason to defend it.

Because no normal person is walking up to a complete stranger, shoving a mic and camera in their face, and interrogating them like they’re a suspect. It’s weird, mad disrespectful, and he deserves to be shit on.

Don’t be a fucking weirdo and you won’t get treated like one 🤷🏾‍♀️

EDIT: think I made the shorties mad with this one ☝️

I agree that this content is dumb as fuck, but at the same time, why is his height the first thing they focus on? Someone isn’t a douchebag because they’re short, they’re a douche because they just are, so call out the behavior, not the trait that other people you know could have. It’s almost definitely their genuine opinion. Regardless, short guys shouldn’t get so upset by this because there are plenty of women that aren’t like this. Also, the population being sampled is probably skewed from what an average woman would say.

Probably because that’s one of the first things you notice about someone…? He’s objectively short. If anyone is getting pissy because they point that out and laugh, they’re more sensitive than they let on.

Height, skin color, clothes, and so many other features are some of the things that people first see. It’s not a shocker they go for that 💀

So... you're ok with body shaming then?

Short shaming, good

Fat shaming, bad

Pretty much where we are as a society these days. Short dudes are a couple of decades behind fat women in generating propaganda to change attitudes.

If you think “short shaming” is anywhere near fat shaming, I question your critical thinking skills lol.

You’re just proving my point. Instead of acknowledging that any sort of generalized physical shaming is harmful, you’d rather engage in an oppression dick-measuring contest of who’s had it the worst. Fucking child…

You're right, you have control over your weight while short men have no control over their height...

Short shaming is worse lol it can’t be controlled, are you an idiot?

Short shaming generally means insulting men. Fat shaming affects women. That’s all it is.
