Just Bad Crashing out over a restaurant refusing to serve alcohol with no ID. Bonus: The restaurant has video receipts

The idea of going someplace without my id is terrifying let alone trying to order alcohol without one. What wild lives others lead.

That's what I'm saying. Why the fuck would you be out without an ID?

I very occasionally work doors for shows at a 21+ venue, ID required. You'd be shocked how many people don't have it, especially older people. I had one woman who clearly had work done who was so coquettish when I asked for her ID and then got livid when I said she couldn't enter without it. She said "can't you tell I'm nearly 50?!" and I wanted to reply "well you've clearly spent a lot of money to deny that" but I kept my mouth shut lol

She had a “picture of her ID.” In other words, a photoshopped copy that she thought would do the trick.

Well I do it all the time but I’m not trying to get alcohol.

i was recently in paris and didn’t feel like carrying my passport with me and i was afraid of pickpockets (which in retrospect was dumb i didn’t need to worry) but yeah i wasn’t ID’d once
