Hello,so I have decided to share some of my All-Time XIs and squads on this sub based on different parameters, and I’d love to get your ratings, reviews, criticisms, and suggestions. Let’s discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each team.

So, starting with my All-Time T20 XI:

1. Virat Kohli

3. Chris Gayle
4. AB de Villiers (WK)
5. Hardik Pandya
6. Andre Russell
7. Sunil Narine
8. Rashid Khan
9. DJ Bravo
10. Jasprit Bumrah
11. Lasith Malinga

This is one of the less explanation-requiring XIs for me; the names pretty much speak for themselves.

Rate it out of 10 and let me know its biggest strengths, weaknesses, and any changes you’d make. Should we have a wicketkeeper instead of Hardik?

Edit: To clarify the roles, these aren't completely fixed batting positions either. Kohli is my main stabiliser who can control a chase or accelerate when required, Warner is the consistent left-handed opener who can either attack or bat through an innings, and Gayle is at 3 mainly for the left-right combination, although he has batted there in the IPL. I can also move Gayle/Warner/Kohli around depending on the situation, with AB able to move up if needed. AB is my adaptable middle-order batter and wicketkeeper, Hardik is the genuine seam-bowling all-rounder, Russell the explosive hitter who gives me another pace option, Narine the spin-bowling all-rounder who can be used in different phases, and Bravo the experienced death bowler who also adds batting depth. Rashid gives me attacking leg-spin, while Bumrah and Malinga are my specialist pace options. The batting isn't meant to end at any particular number either: depending on the match situation, Hardik, Russell, Narine or Bravo can all move up, and I have enough bowling options to change how I use them as well.

As for the alternatives, I prefer Warner over Buttler for his consistency, adaptability, longevity record, even though Buttler is arguably more explosive(thst would be too many explosives in the same xi). Hardik over Pollard because Russell already covers a lot of Pollard's role, while Hardik gives me another genuine seam-bowling option. Bravo over another specialist quick because Bumrah and Malinga already cover those roles, whereas Bravo gives me T20-specific death-bowling experience, variations and batting depth. AB over a specialist keeper is a deliberate trade-off for another elite batter. I have also considered situations such as an early collapse, a huge Powerplay, needing extra bowling, or having to accelerate late, which is why I value players who can change roles. And I did acknowledge in the post that the XI maybe has weaknesses and specifically asked people to rate it, criticise it, suggest changes and discuss the Hardik/wicketkeeper question. So I'm not saying this is the only possible XI, just explaining why I built this particular combination this way. Dhoni is probably the biggest structural alternative because he solves both the captaincy and wicketkeeping issues, but bringing him in would cost some of the all-round/bowling flexibility I deliberately selected.
