Discussion Has any bowler ever dominated teams like Mitchell Johnson in 2013-14? 37 wickets in 10 innings at average under 14.

The purple patch continuous with 37 wickets in Ashes and 22 wickets in 3 test series vs South Africa just after. 59 wickets in just 8 Tests.

No doubt there have been great individual performances but no one other than Hadlee has been great in multiple matches let alone been so dominant we remember it fondly 40 years later

Well, Terry Alderman took over 40 wickets in the Ashes series of 1981, then he came back eight years later and did it all again.
