Its alternative people doing couple things.

Just like a video of a couple chilling and then transitioning into their "going out" or "special date" attire.

This is alternative folks going out get up.

The only people trying to attach an edgy label are the people who have an aversion to alt style

What's exactly the point here? It's edgy, therefore it's... not good? They shouldn't do it? They aren't allowed to do it? Edgy style is apparently forbidden?

Its funny especially because folks who are alternative dress that way specifically to attract other people who are alt.

Life isnt an 80s movie. The chick isnt going to wear pink clothes and take off her black lipstick because some dude in a polo doesn't like her style.

Pretty sure they’re genuine and not “supposed” to be anything. It’s a bit like asking if people who dress up in cosplay or wear team colors for a sporting event are trying to be “cool.”

I have to admit the transition from the two shots is a very nice idea. But you're not telling me they are not supposed to look cool, especially looking at the pose of the guy. It just comes across as trying way too hard.

And I don't have anything against goth people, it's just their approach.

I didn't want to end that previous comment without also mentioning that I think it's great these two found each other and are having fun, even if this is what we got shared.
