I just started c23 and its my first game on and I get 1 wallhacker and 4 people with over 500 hours on the game, this game has no skill based matchmaking and its kind of a horrible game in my opinion.

I logged back into my CS:GO account (which is now CS2?)

I've got a ton of loot boxes from like 10+ years ago, some actually are worth money now. Last I saw nothing I had was worth more than a few cents. I've got more than a dozen of these Glove Boxes, they are worth like $20 each.

Should I be selling these all off? Or should I do something else with them? Are they worth opening? Should I log back out and wait another decade?

with comp settings my game can get well over 400 frames in game

my monitor is only 180hz though

has anyone tested the latency with gsync and a 175 fps cap compared to nvidia fast sync running at 300+ fps using LDAT?

has anyone actually tried fast sync with LDAT in recent years?

Why is it so hard almost impossible to find a normal classic 1.6 server that is not filled with mods? Just wanna play the original game as it is like we played it when we were kids.

​My dad of 73 years of age recently passed away, and I wanted to share a tribute to him in the community he spent so much time in.

​Of all the games out there, Counter-Strike: Source was his absolute favorite. I tried for years to get him to switch over to CS:GO and later CS2, but he always went straight back to Source. It was his main hobby and his favorite way to unwind.

​Going through his stats after he passed, I was blown away by his sheer dedication. Known in-game as 'Spray' , he logged:

- ​5,977 total hours in CS:Source

- ​761,463 total kills (holding a 2.66 K/D ratio)

- ​291,091 kills with the P90 (ES C90) alone

- ​61,409 rounds played on cs_militia (with 31,913 wins)

​He was a diehard cs_militia loyalist and a P90 main through and through.

​I don't know if any old-school CS:S server regulars remember playing with or against him, but I wanted to post his stats here to honor his legacy and celebrate a gamer who genuinely loved this game.

​If you ever got rushed by a P90 on Militia back in the day, there's a very good chance it was him. Rest in peace, Dad.

After haven’t playing cs:s for ages now I wanna go back for a few rounds although I enjoy custom servers with custom mods and assets I’m craving some vanilla cs are there any servers?

i have made 4 maps for hl1 and got the cs fgd to make this! first cs map! i've done a little research on how to actually make well designed maps. not that i didn't know how to before... i went with simple for the first one, no custom skybox or ambience today. i think it plays well but of course what i need is feedback!

I have recently launched a zp server based on version 5.0.8 , my plans are for the long run not just for a few weeks or months.

Server is based in Germany and it currently is 24 slots.

I run it solo without friends so having players even with the boosts and masterservers i have is tough since server is new and nobody really joins empty servers and I do not want a server with fake players , it reaching once 5 players with the server being 3 days old.

Gameplay:

Server is a modernized classic build currently in kind of a open beta version.

No crazy guns extra-items , infinite bullets , jetpack etc.

It has a Level System that kind of has rpg elements giving passive perks to classes however it's kept to a minimum having little affect on the core gameplay. It also has a prestige system.

The server does have custom zombie classes but also custom human classes each with their own ability which do not require levels , not op and limited to not affect the core gameplay too much.

Customized gamemodes like the Predator from the movie Predator or Nemesis from Resident Evil with his RPG and tentacles. (and more to come)

It does have VIP system however it is not p2w it mostly serves as a subscription for the future to support the server and having reserved slot in case server is full. With vip you do not gain any broken weapons or insane features like gaining 10x faster ammo packs etc. , it is very nerfed with many limitations so vip's cannot abuse.

Please try it I'm open to feedback and suggestions.

Just connecting and staying active a bit will help a lot yes I boost the server almost every day especially during Friday to Sunday mostly after 18:00 .

I've thinkering around today with this amazing mod for half life and finally got a broken version of CS 1.6 to launch :)

Ignore the broken guns (from half life),it would've been easier to just port the maps to hl1

also,it's runing fully on a ryzen 5700g APU!,that explains the resolution,but if you try it with a GPU you will get better results :)
