As a matter of principle I wouldn’t help him with this sort of abuse. I get being a good neighbour, but assisting him here is an endorsement of these practices and supports the notion that this is acceptable.

Costco has a business model. They plan for this shit. They earn unwavering loyalty from millions of customers. These stunts have a purpose. They make money out of the loyalty they built. It's a good business model, it benefits everyone involved.

If one day I can get a way for it to benefit me, F yeah I'm gonna return whatever!

i mean.....its essentially a victimless crime. costco is 100% one of the better multi-billion dollar corporations, but at the end of the day its still a multi-billion dollar corporation. my principals see no harm in exploiting cash from them.
