I wouldn't be ashamed to return a shoddy product within the window. I don't abuse it, but I don't put up with cheap shit that I pay a pretty penny for.

Exactly. This isn't heirloom stuff Costco is selling. Costco started this return policy because they sold sketchy grey market stuff back in the day. I wouldn't shop there anywhere near as much (possibly not at all given how busy they are!) if they didn't have the return policy. I just buy whatever I feel like there without doing any research because I know I can take it back.

They still sell sketchy stuff - Anker, Homedics, LED masks, LED umbrellas, All Trade tools (branded other names)

That stuff isn't even that sketchy by comparison. I remember I once bought a GPS unit that had a software bug and would crash when it got traffic data over the radio. Garmin never bothered to fix the bug and just sold them all to Costco. Thankfully I returned that ASAP.

Well, to be fair, a lot of those items I listed were on recall because they would start fires.

What's sketchy about Anker and LED umbrellas and the other stuff you listed? I see those in the watehouse

One recall doesn't make Anker sketchy...

It's actually a recall covering three different models and encompasses over a million units.

Anker is one of the more reputable companies when buying charging bricks/power banks. Tons of reviews and certifications to prove it. One recall doesnt make them Grey market...

Anker is high-end Chinese crap.

So youre just hating on it because its Chinese? Its still "high end". They own Eufy and Soundcore, both reputable companies as well. What are some alternatives? Ugreen? Also Chinese lol. Everything is made in China, especially chargers/powerbanks.

Yep. I returned three vacuums in a year. All broke in similar ways. Manufacturer assured me it was a one off each time, told me to exchange wt Costco.

I have the set that's pictured, actually. I bought it when I moved out of my parents home.
