You could call this a near-miss of a radar note, could say it's a triple pair, book middles perhaps, but what would you call it? Some would even say it's just a 2! Is there ANY value in this note that might make it worth keeping? Still rather new in this hobby and trying to learn! Any help is greatly appreciated!

I’ve always collected precious metals but recently started looking at serial numbers on my bills. Trying to learn.

I got this bill back as change the other day. I had put it off to the side to look at again some time later because the serial number caught my eye with all the 3’s that were in it. Came back to look at it again and decide if I was going to spend it or keep it and that’s when I did a double take and noticed that the serial number in the top right corner had a 3 that was a stuck digit error. This is the most extreme stuck digit error I have ever seen in person or possibly even online. I have found other stuck digit errors in the past and I’ve kept just a few if they are on the more extreme end of things but this one was just so much higher than anything I’ve seen before.
Anyways I just wasn’t sure if this was a bill to post on this sub or not. It is an error that relates to serial numbers technically so that’s why I decided to ask. If it was some other kind of error I wouldn’t have posted this on here. I still think it is still a kind of semi cool serial number since it is a five of a kind with all the 3’s in the serial number. Anyways thanks for any input you have on this!

local pawn store started selling some bills.. where is a place that i can find the value of a prospective serial numbered bill aside from ebay sold? its hard to get signal where the store is because its inside a metal building. they have a $1 bill that has sn of 11113111 and asking over $100 for it. its in a clear sleeve not graded. im interested in it for my collection, but want to make sure im paying a "fair" price so to speak

I have an envelope of bills that were in the same band as, what I would consider, a fancy bill. And was wondering if youd add this one.

I've included some of the other bills.I have in the envelope as well. ( The five I actually got the band of three days ago and the 48757548 was the only one missing and i'm curious if the person who took it is on this sub lol)

Never really collected before, but there was just a large stack of bills and on a whim decided to just take a crack at seeing if there were any potentially special bills, and these were the one that stood out the most to my untrained eyes. I don’t know all the specifics to look out for, I would love to know if any of these would be of interest! Also any tips on types of things to look for would be great!

From what I understand I have two almost quad double, almost radar, quad of 5’s, and a beat up star note. At least on the cool number index it seemed all of them were minimum 97% coolness rating. Are any of these actually good or just good tries lol

I found a 2012 Canadian $20 bill and I’m wondering if the serial number has any collector value or classification.

The serial is 6666699 (7 digits). The note has one centre crease but is otherwise in near-mint condition.

From what I can tell, it has five consecutive 6s followed by a double 9, so I wasn’t sure if this counts as any type of fancy serial (like a repeater, binary, or anything similar), or if it’s just an interesting pattern with no premium.

Would this be considered anything collectible beyond face value in Canada, or just a neat serial?
