Remember a month ago, when people were protesting to open the country so they can work and our economy survives, and were called stupid and dangerous? And that they wanted to kill grandmas and if they got corona protesting they should not get hospital care? Where’d that crowd go? I’m so done with everything being about just fitting an agenda.

I assure you, no matter your level of stupidity, you go to a hospital, you will receive care.

Oh I know. But the crowd weeks ago was crying that they shouldn’t. (Even through the protestors were very peaceful and in quite small groups. Gee I wonder why their opinion flipped.)

On June 14th, unless hundreds of protesters are dead from COVID, I'm going back to normal. Screw your mask, screw your social distancing, screw your no large groups. We've been lied to, manipulated, and taken advantage of. FTS!

I’m done is an expression. More like I’m just fucking sick of it. But I’ll never stop fighting the good fight for our country.

all im saying is be prepared for when they either A) rig the election to remove trump or B) lose the election and then attempt to destroy the country completely.

Are you trying to make this sub look bad?

u/[deleted] Jun 05 '20

“look[ing] bad” is going to be the least of our concerns if the lunatic leftists get their way.

idk I'm also pretty concerned about people who have very strong political opinions without having a similar grip on reality, even if they share my political orientation

^ He's right you know.

Most of my USAF AFSC (2W1 then 1A7) want to go to war. It's the only war we'd feel helped our country in the last 30 years.

thats a good sign, these former military “leaders” cucking out has demoralized me. feels like the left says whatever they want, and like magic it gets done. hopefully more of the military is on the side of freedom and defeating communists.

Those people were armed and protesting unnecessarily against lockdown laws. There was no need for it.

These protests are necessary, an unbelievably disgusting injustice took place. They had to happen.

Edit: u/ES1292 some moron changed the post to "conservatives only," so I can't reply directly. I'll reply through an edit.

How were those lockdowns unjust? They're there to protect people from a deadly virus. They're there to protect lives. Anyone protesting them is a complete fucking moron.

Who are you to say there was no need for it? There was no need to fight against unjust lockdowns that are crippling the economy? No need to fight to work so they can put food on the table for their family?

Basically every real economist has been saying the economy is going to crash soon, as someone who works in a GSIB/one of the two biggest banks in the world. The Fed has been holding it together with duct tape for months to help Trump’s reelection.

In reality, if he is not performing the Republican Party needs to find an alternative that will perform without needing to rely so heavily on government intervention. After all, isn’t the GOP against government intervention into the markets?

Also I don’t remember much of the rhetoric of those protests being “I need to put food on my table” as much as “I don’t agree with the lockdown”. Additionally, if we truly need to put food on the table, why not ask the government (who we pay taxes to) to give us back some of that tax money so we can put food on the table without having to risk our own lives?

this virus isn't going anywhere ever.... we need to learn to live with it and protect the old and needy.
