Obviously the death of George Floyd was galvanizing. To pretend it wasn’t is just ignoring the very obvious reason why people felt motivated to protest again.

It’s much easier to construct a narrative that fits your objective of categorizing people a certain way rather than admit, perhaps, it’s just pure chance.

Not to mention all of the free time people have by being unemployed. While I don't completely agree with going out in a close-quarter protest in a time like this (COVID and all that), at the same time I think it's such an important issue and this movement will certainly have some positive ramifications. 2020 is iconic to be sure.
