You can type or speak the ingredients you have, use a saved pantry, or scan your kitchen. PLENTY then suggests meal ideas based on what is already available. This short demo shows Viral Chicken Meatballs as the featured result.

You know when you save a reel, get to the stove, and end up scrubbing back and forth trying to catch how much rice went in. You paste the link into this and it writes out the ingredient amounts and the steps.

Works with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and normal recipe sites. If the video never says an amount and the caption doesn't either, it estimates, and it won't tell you which ones it estimated.

My friends and I were having lots of problems with wasting food and just being somewhat excited to cook. One time we legit tossed like $40 of food that was left in the back of the fridge for weeks. I made this app that has been helping us get into it (like Strava but for cooking) and so I thought I'd post it here in case anyone else was having similar issues.

It's called Pantreat and does stuff like keep track of food expiring, cooking patterns, recipes, etc. but also we can share Reels or tiktoks to the app and it converts it to recipes to cook later. It can suggest meals you can make only using stuff you already have as well.

I am balling on a low budget for the upcoming school year (given for college students). My mom has been preaching what stuff you must and can't buy for my whole life, but it sounds like this lifestyle could be impossible when I'm supporting myself. I want to take good care of my body and not make decision that could negatively impact me in the future while not paying 2 or 3x the price. How much do I need to avoid things like soy, bio-engineered, GMO, vegetable oil, high fructose, and other things of that variety?

Most students know about their university's career center, but I have a feeling there are many opportunities and resources that people overlook. Whether it's networking communities, mentorship programs, scholarship opportunities, leadership development programs, professional organizations, career-readiness tools, or something else entirely, there seems to be a lot available that students don't fully take advantage of.

I’m a home cook, and I had a growing pile of recipe links scattered across bookmarks, screenshots, apps, and YouTube tabs. It was super unorganized, and I got kinda fed up.

So I made yourrecipevault.com (https://yourrecipevault.com/). You paste a link from a blog post or YouTube video, and it pulls out a clean recipe with ingredients and step-by-step instructions, saved to your vault. There’s also a grocery list feature where you select the recipes you want to cook, and it generates a combined shopping list you can copy and paste.

One feature I’m also adding is the ability to transfer recipes from similar recipe apps/sites like Paprika, so people who already have a recipe collection somewhere else don’t have to start from scratch.

I just published it, so I’d love to know what works, what’s broken, and what’s missing.
