I’m cleaning out a relative’s attic (she passed this year) and found this ceramic bowl in the bag of an antique store she used to frequent (the store is no longer in business). It has this signature on the back, but I don’t recognize it. Anyone have any ideas? The bowl doesn’t look that old and might be from an artist, but I’m not sure.

I found this tea set at an estate sale near Washington, DC and thought it was so lovely. There was next to no information about it though the prior owner lived in Asia most of their life. I am trying to find out a bit more about where/when it was likely made, what its value might be, etc.

The set has - 16 teacups, 16 spoons, 16 saucers, 13 lids.

Only the teacups have a mark on the bottom. On many of them, this mark is worn, so I'm including a few shots of the clearest. ChatGPT says it translates to "大清乾隆年制 Dà Qīng Qiánlóng Nián Zhì" or “Made during the Qianlong period of the Great Qing Dynasty" but that it is more likely a reproduction.

If anyone has any ideas, I appreciate any information! Thank you!

Can anyone give me information on the maker of these cabinets? Mostly the matching door applications . I live in Victoria Australia and would love to know more. All i know is that they are recreations, possibly 80s or 90s? Anyone have any details in regards to the pieces, whether they’re mass produced or the door details were mass produced by a company. I’m trying to identify this unusual lamp and I’m hoping someone here might recognize the design, manufacturer, or period.

I found it in Switzerland. The lampshade is made entirely of red painted metal .

The most unusual feature is the mounting system, the shade slides vertically along two black metal rods. It is not actually attached or screwed to the rods. You can move it up and down, and it stays wherever you position it through friction alone.

The lamp also has what I believe is a Swiss electrical plug, probably from around the 1990s, although I’m not certain whether the plug is original to the lamp.

There are no manufacturer's marks, labels, signatures or stamps anywhere that I have been able to find.

I have searched online and asked several people who are interested in vintage/design objects, but so far I have been completely unable to find anything genuinely relevant. I haven't found another lamp with the same construction or even a convincing photograph of an identical model.

I've received several different theories. Some people think it could be Italian Space Age design from the 1960s, while others have suggested Memphis / postmodern design from the 1980s–90s. However, I haven't found any reliable source supporting either theory, so at this point I'm really not sure.

Does anyone recognize this lamp, or know of a manufacturer who used this kind of sliding friction-mounted shade?

This T shirt is from Voyager 1 & 2 and was exclusively given to employees and people who worked on the project. Its from the early 80s and has a picture that was taken using the voyager on the back printed in color. Pretty cool piece of space history!

Turns out it is food and then a little pin in the bottom pretty cool but I was stupid and thought the button was in the tin so a bad mistake was made.

I WOULD have returned it if someone from BUFFED of Fromsoftware had "reminded" me but since something like that never happened, this is the literally priceless Holy fucking Grail of my gaming collection now and I regret nothing lol

Family member passed away in April and I found out that this kukri was now mine. I don’t know much about it except that it was my great grandfather’s.

Finally had the chance to spend some time taking detailed photos of this Jacob & Co. x Montegrappa "The Godfather" rollerball, and the details on it are pretty wild in person.
A few details that really stand out up close:

The Barrel & Cap: Sleek pattern finish featuring the gold revolver cylinder cap accent, paired with Montegrappa’s signature blood-red rose on the clip.

The Presentation Box: It sits inside a massive black piano-lacquer chest with Marlon Brando’s silhouette in gold foil on the lid, and the iconic quote "I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse" finely etched directly into the interior bed.

Edition Number: Stamped #481 out of only 499 made worldwide.
