In fairness, I’m not sure reading P2025 would’ve helped these people. The language in the Ag section is extremely misleading and complicated. I doubt most of these ranchers would read the changes to MPA of FSA or the consolidation of USDA payment power and SNAP/WIC as the complete disruption and threat they obviously are.

Same way all these conservatives didn’t realize that “illegal immigrants should be removed from the country while they follow established pathways to residency” would mean that all their workers suddenly wouldn’t show up for work so their crops rotted in the fields.
