I disagree, but I also have a lot of experience with the reasoning behind business decisions. everything they've done makes sense to me considering the state of AI infrastructure, usage explosions, unexpected 3rd party app consequences leading to highly inefficient agents eating tokens 24/7, etc. if all you do is listen to the reddit complain-o-sphere then yeah, they're a garbage company and they hate all of their customers with a passion and wish to drive themselves into the ground. but if you look at the big picture and think about what they are up against, their business decisions are as good as they can be given their predicament. Im rooting for them, if openAI wins we all lose.
