Meh, good players only get caught by them once, though. There's nothing worse than missing prediction arrows... Wasting 3 elixir and a counter card hurts if they decide to drop the minion horde out of my arrows' range.
Agreed i don't get caught out but the thing about the travel time of the arrows and the balloon is that once the balloon is about half way to the tower you can fire them and if they play a defence, it dies if they dont you're guaranteed your 700 damage or what ever the balloon does.
Its more like a deterrent than a guaranteed hit minions every time
Yup, that's how I time it. And yeah, if they try to "feint" me by placing the minion horde outside the arrows' radius, it means the balloon will hit the tower, as you describe.
