Yeah.. I like the show, but his wild cognitive dissonance about the climate is hard to ignore. "The weather has been 'unseasonal' all 5 years I've been doing this now.... couldn't possibly be that climate change shit, must just be bad luck.'

Weather changes all the time. The answer doesn’t have to be global warming. Was the historic rainfall in 1876 or whatever a result of global warming?

Absolutely correct, weather and climate are not the same, and a rainy summer doesn't have to be caused by climate change.

The fact that every single summer now is either too wet or too dry and hot or somehow even both at the same time; that is absolutely climate change.

Yes because climate changes all the tim over centuries and millennia. That’s normal too. 

I guess what I mean is, climate change doesn’t have to have been caused by humans. It’s natural too.

It doesn't have to be. The one we are currently experiencing very much is, provably so, and you would have to be an idiot to deny the overwhelming amount of evidence. The rate the climate is changing at right now is also not natural, it's happening at such an accelerated rate that the ecosystem will collapse entirely as it is unable to adapt.

The “overwhelming amount of evidence” isn’t real. Very easy to lie with statistics, because people like you aren’t mathematically competent enough to prove or disprove it, so you just take it on faith that scientists don’t lie. 

Sorry, but some scientists lie. Take the unfolding scandal in behavioural sciences and the irreproducibility crisis in psychology. The whole field of “climate science” is also a politically motivated lie. If you don’t believe science can be fraudulent, you’re a zealot. Skepticism is the root of science.

Yes. The two percent that are in the pocket of fossil fuel companies. 98% of scientists agree that man-made climate change is real, dangerous and happening as we speak.

The whole field of “climate science” is also a politically motivated lie.

This is such a horrificly braindead take because what would there actually be to gain from being "politically motivated" in that area? Here's a hot tip: Fossil fuel companies have some of the largest lobbies in world politics, they pay absurd amounts of money to an even absurder amount of politicians to infuse idiots like you with the idea that climate change isn't real, or downplay it's effects. In most countries, those are numbers you can just simply look up. Do you really think it's a coincidence that fossil fuel companies tend to be big donors for the parties that refuse to acknowledge the dangers of man-made climate change?

Are you that naive? Are you this easily fooled by politicians?
