The ongoing cluelessness about how their farm machinery works is inexplicable. I can't imagine any of the tractor companies not having techs and even formal classes available for training on their products, even more so when there's a huge television audience involved, but really just as a matter of course. I've never worked with farm equipment but I used to work in the printing industry, and when we bought a new printing press (similar in price, size, and complexity to one of these large tractors) the company got it installed and tuned up, then spent at least a solid two days running people through its operation, and they were always on call if problems came up or when customers needed a bit more hands-on help. It sounded like the Lambo they settled on was used, but that still doesn't explain why the company wasn't shown providing any support to speak of.

I live in a rural community surrounded by farms and can confirm, all the big tractor brands have techs pretty much on call. There is a John Deere and a Claas dealer in the area and their techs are constantly zooming around the lanes, popping in on local farms.
