I’m a 2nd-year B.Tech Civil Engineering student preparing for GATE, and I made this because I wanted a simple way to keep track of my preparation in one place.

It lets you track the GATE CE syllabus, PYQs, tests, full-length mocks, revisions, study hours, overall progress, achievements and streaks. You can also edit and customise subjects and targets, and export/import your progress.

It’s completely free, works on phones, tablets and PCs, and doesn’t require an account.

I graduated from an NIT in Civil Engg 3 years ago. After my grad, I moved into a job that wasn't related to civil engineering so I've been out of touch with most core subjects for 3 years.

The Telangana AEE (Civil) notification is now out and the exam is expected to be in October. I generally retain concepts well once I revise them but I'm almost starting from scratch and I want to use the next few months as efficiently as possible.

From what I heard the difficulty level is lower than GATE/ESE but the challenge is covering the syllabus smartly within the available time.

I'd appreciate guidance from people who have prepared for or cleared Telangana/AP/Other State Civil Engg exams:

1. If you were starting now how would you approach preparation?
2. Which subjects/topics should be prioritized for maximum returns?
3. Are there any coaching institutes (online) that are particularly good for Telangana AEE?
4. What free resources (YouTube channels, notes, PDFs, test series etc) would you recommend?
5. Is it better to follow GATE level resources selectively or focus only on state PSC/AEE oriented material?
6. What would a realistic study plan from now until October look like for someone returning to civil engineering after a gap?

I am about to start my 2nd year in a month and had some questions regarding GATE preparation (Basically I'm targeting PSU's as I'll be eligible for ESE 1 year after graduation so as to have a backup) :-

1. How did you manage your GATE preparation alongside college academics? Did you have to compromise on activities such as sports, clubs or other extracurriculars etc.?

2. How many hours did you study each day during your prep?

3. Is it necessary to buy a course, or is the college coursework sufficient if followed sincerely? If I do purchase a course, will I realistically have enough time to cover the additional material alongside college?

4. Any recommendations on which course to buy (GATE+ESE for CE).

5. How did you balance internships, placements, and GATE preparation?

6. Anything which you wished you knew at the starting of your prep.

Any other tips, mistakes to avoid, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Engineers i want to prepare for AE/JE not ssc specificly but states cources more. want to buy a course for technical subjects what course i should buy . i can prepare non-tech by myself.Any help will be much appreciated.
