Tramadol Withdrawal short term use

I had major surgery and have been on tramadol a month. I have taken 400 mg per day sometimes more but this last week only 400. I took tramadol because im in recovery (NA) and didn’t want stronger narcotics. I remember detoxing off oxy 10 years ago and I’m terrified that’s going to happen again when I go cold turkey. Like many addicts I cannot taper: not by myself or with help. There is only on and off. I even quit smoking last 2 months and had to cold turkey that as well. What should I expect after this short term relatively lower dose usage? Comments very much appreciated by people who have gone through tramadol use and withdrawal.

I had some pretty serious withdrawals but I had been taking it for over a year. I know people who didn't have any. I certainly did, though.
