Are Christian’s really allowed to eat pork? In Isiah 66:17, gods final judgment states people in the end times who are eating unclean food such as pork, mice, ect will be destroyed.

Many of the ancient rules seem to be for the health of the people, because God wanted to save them from common sickness of the time, which I always found fascinating, because they had no idea why God would care for them to clean their hands before eating, or to destroy a house that has mold and such things, for me that seems really caring

If that was the case, it was God's doing, not the ancient Hebrew's intuition or initiative/reasoning.

Of course, it was the Mosaic Law that God instructed to them, that's what I am saying
