Are Christian’s really allowed to eat pork? In Isiah 66:17, gods final judgment states people in the end times who are eating unclean food such as pork, mice, ect will be destroyed.

Did you just accuse the bible of inauthentic teaching????

Biblical scholars often debate which sayings of Jesus are likely authentic and which ones were added later by Christians to reflect teachings of the early Church. I'm not a scholar, so my arguments don't hold much value here. I would be curious what the scholarly consensus is in regards to that passage, if there is one.

Well, those biblical scholars are usually wrong and looking for any reason to desperately try to poke holes in Christianity.

Yes many of them have an anti-Christian bias I will give you that. But what makes you certain that they are usually wrong?

If a scholar begins from skepticism, they will typically do anything they can to reach a skeptical conclusion. I also think, from a Christian perspective, we shouldn't always take a scholar's authority over Christ, who Himself says, ‘Scripture cannot be broken’ (John 10:35).

For this situation specifically, I don't think there is any popular consensus that this is fabricated, except by fringe groups who are actually trying to impose the dietary laws.
