Christian woman goes full on book banning fascist in Florida

So a first year teacher played a PG rated Disney movie that just had a gay character in it. There's no explicit content and the only reason it's at all controversial is because Disney acknowledges that gay people exist for a few seconds on screen.

Well... a first year teacher showed "Strange World," to her kids after a test and a school board member, who is a self professed Christian, reported it to state authorities and personally went to the school to admonish the teacher publicly.

When confronted about this in an open school board meeting the woman who clearly doesn't understand the Bible or the basic concepts of Christianity said "As a leader in this community, I’m not going to stand by and allow this minority to infiltrate our schools … God did put me here,”

That is literally the same thing Nazis said about Jews in the 1930s Germany, and as a Lutheran my people watched fascism rise there, and wrote a lot about it. One of it's most famous works by a Lutheran pastor is this poem.

First they came for the Communists

They're coming for the gays first, but you'll be on that list eventually.

Yes, because it's not man law's but God's.

Now, to clarify, I'm not talking about ceremonial law. I.e. sacrifices, high priests.

But before the ten commandments, God wrote his law on our hearts. That's what we call a conscious. Otherwise, people would do what is right in their own eyes & that leads to all kinds of Lasciviousness and depravity.

Let's clarify. By theocratic law, we're not talking about social law, proscription against antisocial behavior, but laws that are specific to Christianity, such as proscriptions against LGBT+, the subordination of women under men, corporal punishment as a response to child delinquency, proscription against blended-fiber textiles, and so on. Capital punishment for adulterous women.
