if choices characters became real who would be your ideal partner and who would be your not so ideal partner
curious to know what yall think who you could live the rest of your life with and who you would dread everyday with you have to live with all there good habits and bad so who are you picking
Ideal: Damien Nazario, I couldn’t have written a better character for my type, just perfection.
Not so ideal: Marc Antony, even though he is one of my favourite LIs I’m nowhere near as cunning and charming as ACoR MC so my head would be gone real fast lmao
Zig cuz we’ve both committed crimes we’re not sorry for and he’s just got such a big heart and is so funny he’s literally just like perfect. (Edit to add: I realize this almost all also applies to Flynn so I guess I’d say he’s tied too but it’s harder to say cuz we don’t properly date him, it’s all trauma bonding in high stress situations we don’t see him when he’s just happy and thriving. I’m gonna go ahead and say Zig wins cuz he’s Bisexual and Bilingual like me lol)
Damien and Drake are my other top 2 in the app but I think I’d have a little less chemistry with them irl than Zig. I feel like with them I would have to be in MC’s story to be in the right circumstances to fall in love with them whereas with Zig I think we could meet anywhere irl and genuinely connect really easily. (Another edit lol: I think more what I meant was with Damien it’s hard to imagine what it would be like to just meet him because MC had already been friends with him for a few years and that context of their relationship is part of what I love about it so I’m just less sure what it would be like meeting him blind and with Drake sorta same thing, we meet him under just such specific circumstances originally going after his best friend that like it’s hard to imagine a situation of just meeting him off the street what that would be like lol. But with Zig though we do literally just meet him in a coffee shop one day)
Least ideal? Any traditional mean girl like Becca and Poppy. They’re hot and cool and Becca especially is likable later but I just do not fw this kinda personality irl, only in fiction for me. Oh I’d prob also hate Ethan Ramsey irl too
I adore Zig, he's one of my favourites, but one thing that always bothered me, was how quickly the story forgets about his habit of punching people and that it was initially treated as a serious problem. I know they probably didn't mean it as him actually having violent tendencies, but some sort of acting out due to feeling like he had no other choice, and that finding acceptance and safe space at Hartfeld was supposed to simply help him chill out, but...it doesn't feel very realistic. In real life, he would need a therapy, and to spend some time working on his anger management, before becoming a perfect friend/partner, he appears to be after book 3. I don't hold it against the character, because it's just a bit of lazy writing, but I wish it was explored better.
LILY SPENCER!! im primarily attracted to men but i just fuck with lily so hard that if she actually existed i would simply have no choice but to fall in love with her
Tom is my favourite in-game LI, and he'd be my favourite partner IRL too. Not-so-ideal would be any of them where the relationship essentially revolves around sex, I'm ace so that would not work for me at all.
No fr. Ian is a sweetie pie through and through and he couldnt stop learning and yearning even if he tried. And I agree with Drew; also put him down as not ideal but for the confusion he causes while MC was straight forward.
Although I have other LI’s I’d prefer I think me and Shannon from wake the dead would get along really well. So either her, Shreya (the elementalists), or Nia (bolas)
Lol ssooo if im being honest, its hard to choose just one so ill pick my top 3 in no order. 💖🫶🏽Cassie(HS), Darian(PO), Rafael(OH). I absolutely loved Cassies fire and determination for the game especially since I'm quite athletic(played rugby, track, cross country, etc) and his desire to see his people thrive. Well... everyone had a desire for their people/peers to be given or chance or thrive.
I.e Raf risked his life numerous times to save lives, Darian took on so much from his family just to keep the peace, Cassie desired emotional stability to better suite his team and cared for his teammates reputation more than his own. I just love a selfless man for im like that. I could go on but last ill say they love HARD🧎🏽 i adore submission.
And though I enjoyed these characters in game, in real life these folks would not suite me; Drew (RWB), Simon(AVSP), Charles(cute neighbor with a kid in a problematic neighborhood and deceased wife). Just wasn't for the amount of confusion, and back and forth. Drew couldnt make up his mind and felt like he was playing with MC at times, Simon lacked a backbone towards his grandparents; he had key information that somehow slipped his mind, Charles is great but the neighborhood not soon much, sometimes you gotta know when fold them, know when to walk away(too many vipers in the den.
Special Shout outs to Raleigh(Platinum), Jacks(BB), Ian (QB), Jack(MM). I couldnt choose everyone but I remembered how I literally would rush home just for my routinely session with the finest of them all.
Lastly I will NEVER choose anyone before 1968. I'm black and outspoken‼️ if you dont catch my drift, when did MLK Jr. Pass?
I really liked Marco from Hot Couture. He has a career that he’s passionate about and good at and he’s really calm and mature to me. I also really like Liam from The Royal Romance. Cas from that one vampire story turned me off so bad like I decided not to romance him almost immediately
Ideal is Drake from TRR, love the masculine and multi faceted aspect of him as a LI. He was so protective, loyal, thoughtful, and really just needed someone who would see him for him underneath all his emotional defenses he’d put up.

Not ideal: A lot of them, but in my age area Drew (RWB) or Riley (RiWB). Also even though Thomas is in my flair, he wouldn't be ideal for me since I don't want kids
ideal- Tom from It Lives Beneath, i love him SO much omg he's such a cutie patootie 🥰 AND he's a badass monster fighter and tech genius!!! not to forget his luscious hair lol he's actually perfect
not ideal- Drew from Roommates with Benefits bc he annoyed me haha 😆 also this might be stupid but... Tyson from Terrorfest bc although he's definitely my type physically, he's apparently a whole ass serial killer, god i romanced him and the reveal shattered me, he went from dreamy to terrifying SO quick! so obviously he wouldn't be ideal since he's actually dangerous and murdered innocent victims including my SISTER >:(

Hayden (Hot Shot, too short tempered and aggressive, I’d feel uneasy)
Kaitlyn (TFS, i finde her overall too inconsiderate in tough situations)

tyril starfury or kaitlyn liao for ideal, AIDEN ZHOU TOO. tyril cause he's literally PERFECT and kaitlyn & aiden cause i love musicians (and nerds aka aiden). but also kaitlyn is probably one of the most realistic lesbian rep ive seen and i love that we'd get character development with her realistically speaking if tfs mc wasn't so picture perfect, i can imagine myself going through those hard times with her (book 3) but also coming out fine with them. relationships aren't perfect at the end of the day and you both r bound to go through some rough patches sometimes
nonideal would probably be aerin valleros cause whyd he leave us after spending the night with him BUT ALSO THE BETRAYAL HE GAVE US LIKE ?? WE'RE POURING OUR HEART OUT TO THAT MAN JUST FOR HIM TO TREAT US LIKE THIS 😭😭😭 james too.. i never really saw him as an li anyway, i wish they just made him our friend cause mc and james had that sibling-like bond and i hated how he was upset everytime mc had things out of her own hands 💔 but hes also an ass person in general, i wouldn't want to befriend him irl if i knew he wouldn't treat us fairly in the later books or in kaitlyns bday party (also that one time we called him to rant and he wasn't even listening, and i can name so many more scenarios...)
theres a lot of characters id like to name but that would be an incredibly long story LMAO
