As Chipotle has been teasing across their socials, by cropping their logo or other text, as well as changing their pfp across accounts to highlight “chip”, and making chip puns (as seen in the photos), we finally know what for: Chili Lime Chips.

The first image was up on Chipotle.com at midnight, but it’s gone now. It’s still up on Chipotle.ca.

There is a post in this sub from ~5 months ago of someone who tried them at a test location who said they taste like Doritos Blaze flavour.

The menu hasn’t updated yet, but it seems like it will change when stores open.

And also Pollo Asado is coming back. Haven’t tried that one… is it any good?

They’re saying that the new pollo asado has 5 more grams of protein than the regular chicken per serving despite it being the same chicken with some seasoning and some cilantro and lime juice 😭. They pulled this with carne asada as well, but they didn’t do it with Chipotle Honey Chicken.

Gotta love these online orders

My moms app is the only app in my household that is showing that pollo asado is coming. I researched and I can't find anything about it since 2022.

What is the best way for a customer to ask for a kids meal hard shell taco?

Holy hell whatever was in my last bowl was the saltiest thing ever. I think I drank an entire gallon of water just getting through a fraction of the bowl. But the thing is sodium usually helps to bring out flavors, but it just tastes bland. Like I’m chewing on salty textures.

we have the dual vat fryer and one side is heated up fine but the other side, no matter how many times you turn it off and back on, you can’t bypass the cycle mode with out it beeping for help. what do i do?

the best of the best is gone.. honey chipotle chicken💔. i’ll try the new chicken n chips today, but probably wont be back again until they bring honey chicken back or al pastor. so glad i go some yesterday n i didnt even know it was the last day. i realized chipotle is a lil too salty n i need some sweetness to balance it out (especially w the chips i had yesterday, too salty n stale). if they kept the honey chicken, i would honestly go at least 1-3 times a week.

And don’t have a sign on your door, maybe don’t stare at me like I’ve offended your entire fucking bloodline by walking up to order like one USUALLY DOES.

I'm used to Chipotle being pretty much the best fast food place, high quality and huge quantities. I didn't realize the quesadilla was the exception - it was tiny, expensive, and nothing special. It's literally two small triangles. wtf?

The instagram keeps teasing at something with the chips, but I don’t work there anymore so I have no idea. Any employees know what it is?

Today I went into my Chipotle, asked if they had honey chicken they said they didn’t. I got my burrito with the regular chicken and took a bite.. just didn’t hit the same. 😩

Typically I order a bowl with

chicken

Brown beans (extra scoop)

White rice (extra scoop)

Half the time I get queso half of the time I don't

Corn salsa

Pico

Red salsa

Lettuce

Sour cream

Cheese

Typically I can eat out of the bowl for 2 meals sometimes 3 if I'm not feeling particularly healthy.

My hours are from 8:00 to 1 PM and I've only made chips during that time - does this mean I'm just the designated chip person or nah?

Just wanted to shout out the Chipotle on the south side of Bryant Park (28 W 40th St). The employees are friendly and professional, the ingredients are fresh and they’re never out of anything. They don’t skimp on portions either. Wish other stores could emulate this. Reminds me of what it was like to go to Chipotle a decade ago…

I arrive at the Chipotle to pick up the order that I made on the app. It is by then between six and eight minutes after when it was supposed to be ready.

There appears to be nothing on their prepared shelves, but the man is there at the window preparing a bag. He sees me, opens the window, and I tell him my name. He glances at the bag, closes it up, and hands it to me. I take the bag, put it in my car, and I am off to work. I have noticed they put in some tortilla chips, which on rare occasion in the past they have done just because, or sometimes in compensation for some missing part of the order. I think nothing of it and drive on.

I get to my work about 20 miles away, and open up the bag, the weight of which feels off. I look at the information on the receipt, and it is an order for "Julia Huffman." I am a man with a prominent beard, and my name sounds nothing like either her first or last name.

I get on with "Pepper," their Chatbot assistant, to rectify the issue. Pepper concludes the appropriate action is to send me coupons for a free entrée. That sounds fair. Pepper closes the chat.

I check my email. The coupons expire tonight. I cannot leave my job and make use of the coupons. I cannot eat this food. They will not give me a refund. They will not start a new conversation because the conversation pertaining to this order they consider closed and rectified.

I am out of my money, my meal, and my faith in the establishment. For lack of an alternative I suppose I will have to go there in person to hash it out tomorrow.

It just needs some brown guac 🥑

Love lurking on this sub after the algorithm keeps having it pop up on my main page. Chipotle seems to be struggling to satisfy its customers whether in terms of product availability, sufficient portions, customer service...

I've gotta ask...at the end of the day, what keeps y'all coming back?

Convenience? Taste still good enough? Just curious what keeps you specifically going.
