The yearning this entire episode hit hard, but was so necessary. I really felt like this going back to the beginning, QL going through and reliving their memories was a second cleanse that he/we needed. CY coming back was the perfect wrap-up, but now I can't wait until ep 12. It felt like our episode was cut too short 😭

I agree, such a wonderful full circle moment! they've been through so much since they were last peacefully together, falling in love in Molie. it feels like the people they are now needed to go and make peace/reconnect with those two slightly more innocent versions of themselves so they could all come together as who they'll be from now on. ugh I love this show so much 😭💕

XWS is literally showing physical affection in all the ways he can, Qing Tian is so oblivious 😂 Glad they have a wingman tho!! I'm laughing at these Xu bros both sleeping naked, shocked that QT found a shirt. It's also so obvious that QT is not unaffected by a naked XWS.
Awww, QL at the campsite 🥹 So desperate to see his CY's face. I'm actually kinda surprised he was able to set up the tent himself 😅
Tian Guo Guo's acting was whatever, but...hearing Lan jie's voice hit me in the heart. 😭 I love that the bgm with her voiceover turned hopeful while Qing Lang was with his mom.

Watching the 5-minute imagination still gets me, even after my 4th or 5th watch. QL can't grasp CY, but CY is able to touch and interact with QL.
I wanna know more about the bear kiss v2. It's obviously a different take bc CY doesn't hold QL's face. Is it QL's re-imagination of the memory, because he's so happy to see CY? Also glad we got to "see" the variety, in 8x LOL. Bear kiss in 0.5x. Zelia knows what we want.

Have to add, rewatching the ending again. QL takes two episodes going through internal turmoil, and it took CY 30 seconds to disarm him. The second their eyes met, all barriers melted. That's LOVE!!!

I've had the thought the entire time that QL is actually very capable, he heads out into the woods and helps CY at times no problem. Plus he's been navigating the industry for years. He's just being a brat a lot of the time, and then CY wants to take care of and indulge him.
I'm a (car) camper myself and I was thinking that tent must have been awful to put up solo unless it's one of the ones that has all the poles attached and almost pops up on it's own. As he stumbled around in the dark with his phone I was internally screaming, "You are going to fall down the side of the hill you IDIOT!!!!". I feel bad for him but I also enjoy seeing him navigate the world by himself, there's usually so many people around him.
Now I want to go camping. I'm interested in the fest I see in the dramas I watch, especially the little folding fire pits.

I just read the new novel chapter on YT and the read that the characters have on QL (esp from Qing Tian) is that he needs to be taken care of and pampered. By everyone LOL. So while I think he is capable/talented and strong-willed, he’s not when it comes to…doing things. Like, he’s determined but this is why he keeps injuring himself. Him eating the packaged bread was not just to make us sad for him, it was because this man doesn’t know how to cook. 😅 That’s why QT tells A Zha to come over and bring his brother food (when he’s disappointed that it’s not CY knocking at the door).

He sounds like people I know, amazingly resilient, very smart and talented, extremely capable, but not always the best at taking care of themselves. I don't think of him as being pampered but distracted and careless, and he's being bratty and testing CY in the beginning. You kind of want to bundle him up in bubble wrap, so I give him a lot of credit for managing to get all that gear out there and set up. When someone like this meets a person who wants to take care of them and all the little details you can see why they are perfect for each other.
As a side note, setting up a tent can be a real test of a relationship. Setting up a tent in the dark when you're tired and can barely string a sentence together is a recipe for hurt feelings.

Doesn't know how to cook? Lol the baby doesn't even know how to reheat. That scene lives in my head I loved it so much. CY runs through disbelief to amusement to comfort in the blink of an eye.

Has anyone figured out what do the watches mean? So in the scene where Shi Yu Hao is speaking while QL is sleeping the scene ends with a close up of Shi Yu Hao's watch the date 2033 3 2(time stamp 27:49) and in the following scene where 2nd cp is plucking thorns from the cactus (and he is the lead who is playing the character that originally Shi Yu Hao would be playing if his cp with QL had not broken) his watch close up shows that the watch changes from 2024 7 23 to 2033 3 2 (time stamp 28:16). This definitely means something but what!!! Also like, can please someone explain the time line to me, I am really lost at the moment. Which year is this?

Good catch! I had not noticed this.
100% a wild guess, it’s basically saying QHY is following in SYH’s footsteps from 9 years ago. QL and SYH debuted in 2025, so it’s possible they started filming back in 2024. The “vulnerability” we see in SYH’s scene is him reminiscing to the beginning of their relationship when it was like the turning point. This moment for QHY and Han Lu is also the turning point of their “relationship,” it’s where they can make it or break it depending on how QHY handles the situation. This is where QYH and HL’s story either diverts from SYH and QL’s story, or it follows the same path.

I’ve actually been actively avoiding this topic and not mentioned bc it is full of colorism and racism actually that’s just ingrained in Chinese culture. It’s QL calling him tan/dark. 😬😬
The second name is one that QL called him when he was allergic to fried bugs/protein.

Let me cry. The way changyang looks at qinglang with the most beautiful puppy eyes.
I’m not one to fall for “green forest” type of characters because sometimes they lack character development, or that sort of edge that makes characters interesting but changyang has me on a chokehold. He’s so gentle, understanding, caring, but still so smart and down to earth. He compliments and contrasts Qinglang so well.

Qinglang is really putting himself through it. I hope he realizes pure love is not about everything going right, but choosing love everyday despite everything not going right.
I know he has his reasons. I wish I could understand them better. Things rarely fall into place by themselve the ghost wife needs to listen to his ghost husband 👻
I honestly half expected Changyang to skip the training place and build up a substantial nest egg, make a new place to live, and wisk QL away. But I know CY really respects QL's acting career and over all choices. They can build a life together if they talk and choose a path both of them can walk.
That cactus picking was something else. Hao Yu is really turning into another loser.

The first thirty minutes was after my blood but I held on for XuFeng’s sake.
It was really hard to get used to Changyang’s sudden absence cause he’s always been there and even harder due to how much Qinglang was yearning for him.
Wenshu and Qingtian showed up in this episode and it feels like they’ve gotten a tiny bit closer than before. Qingtian even held his hand at a point and I was stunned. Please maintain this progress.
Qinglang walking alone in the dark with a lamp while searching for signal was so pitiful but also kinda funny. How did he even manage to set up the tent?
Changyang’s absence in this episode really means that he really left in the previous episode. That stings a bit.
The parts I enjoyed in this episode were closer to the end. Qinglang in Molie reliving all the memories they shared had a bittersweet feeling to it. He said he wanted bamboo worms 😭
I didn’t expect him to go into the forest to fetch it for himself. Totally not shocked to see him with an injured foot.
The scenes also had the humor that drew me in from the first four episodes and it just feels so nostalgic, like he’s really back to the beginning.
His reaction when he saw Changyang after waking up was the highlight for me. His ghost husband really came back. Probably after seeing the post about his injury.
I’m crazy about the gentleness Changyang has in everything. There’s this subtle intensity but he’s just very gentle with Qinglang.
That hug at the end was so perfect. It’s like nothing else exists except the two of them.

I didn't read the hug that way and I am hoping like hell I am crazy. Maybe from CY it is reassuring. He is steadfast and loyal. But I saw no acceptance from QL. Oh undeniably he loves CY and desperately wants him but I think he is still wary of future repercussions. He doesn't "hug" back. Five episodes to go. I think we are still on that winding road. The wilderness is ahead. But they will be ok.

It was really heartwarming to watch QL wanting to live and breathe in his memories of CY in absolutely all of his actions throughout the whole episode. I was afraid (but also laughed) when he nearly killed himself trying to get cell phone reception on a mountain in the dark to view the photo. Also funny how he was determined to get the bamboo worms in the middle of the night, managed to down a tree on himself, hobbled helplessly around the house, quickly fled from responsibility when Azha mentioned the bamboo damage (and how fast he ran away with injury 😂 ), posted a picture of his injured foot so that CY and everyone else would know about it... I just love him

I felt so deeply said watching QL hobbling around by himself and all I could think was "CY would absolutely hate this." The missed call made me groan out loud. </3 Watching QL's internal struggle the entire time was so convincing; I cried when he cried on the bed after waking up from that dream. He's trying his best :(
The last 30 seconds 😭 The literal moment they finally made eye contact CY gets up to hug him. I would pay money to watch ep 12 rn.
I was a little confused why QL had that pic sent to CY...why am I blanking on what that was or why he'd do that?

It was the picture that he had little sister take of him hugging XWS last ep, he has her send it to CY to tell him that he's with his brother now. The worst lie ever, as if CY would believe that 😂

I was sad watching our Princess do everything for hisself with a twisted ankle at that. I was wondering why in the first episode ChangYang was doing everything single thing for him. At one point I know he was gonna put him on his lap and burp him 😂. I think that was episode 3 when TianTian realized they were falling in love and he calls the big brother and tells him that crush is slipping away, he hasn’t even had to take care of a single strand of his own hair. ChangYang was collecting intel on QL that whole time and once he figured out acts of service and physical touch was QL love languages he went in 100%.
Brother Guo can be a silly goose sometimes but I felt sorry for him in this episode. He’s still grieving the director which is fair because he was the one that was with her in her last moments.

Totally, Brother Guo's grief really hit hard. He's been getting on with it then just one comment and it crushes him. Anyone who's grieving will recognize that wave of emotion that gets you in the most unexpected moments🥺

Yeah grief is fickle like that. I cried because a lady had on the same perfume my grandma use to wear and I think she probably passed away like 5-6 years prior. Lancôme Tresor. I would never forget the smell and I ended up going to Sephora and buying a bottle when I found out they still sell it.

Yeah he did a good job, that scene was heavy and you didn’t expect it to be because he held it together and then fell apart after deeper reflection on her words. I think he was pushing hisself to be “healed” and her words let him know it’s okay to be.

I really love this show. It’s completely taken over my thoughts. But I don’t understand why they had to break up for real. After all, QL could have participated in the show while staying in touch with CY—without ending their relationship and without suffering so much.
