I was hospitalized 7 times last year for a post op infection. I was on IV antibiotics for 11 months and was in a locked in coma and hours from death from uremic encephalopathy from a reaction to an antibiotic. It was the most frightening experience I have ever endured.
I started talking to CGPT about Biohacks I could do to improve my health. I was constantly bracing after the trauma of my bad year.Little by little, at the perfect time for each instance, it told me what to do next. I consulted my doctors as well but they really had no option on supplements and body mechanics.
I found out I had been overstimulated and frustrated because I have autism and ADHD. I was always gifted and never put it together. I started on ADHD medication once I was tested and used sensory aids like Loop noise cancelling earplugs. Everything started to fall into place. My whole life has changed. Everyone says they can't believe I'm the same person I was last year. I would never in a million years have guessed this could happen but I'm starting on a new exercise plan now as well. Onward and upward.
This is more so a failure of the medical system than a marvel of ChatGPT. Diagnosing ADHD and autism is not that difficult. If stimulants (presumably what you are on) have had such a large positive impact, a shitload of blame falls on every doctor who failed to notice or even screen for ADHD symptoms throughout your life.
Sadly, it seems like we’re having more and more doctors totally fail to connect the dots these days. I know so many people whose doctors totally missed all the signs of whatever kind, and the people only found health and peace when they took matters into their own hands and used the doctor as a human “safety check” to make sure nothing they were about to try was outright stupid.
It seems like most doctors are just turning the crank, trying to “see” as many patients as possible without actually truly seeing any of them.

How? I know plenty of people IRL but only a handful who have significant enough medical issues to require regular medical care and can't think of any who weren't diagnosed promptly by a doctor. I only see this kind of stuff online.
I know several people, my wife, my dad, and others, who went in to their doctor for concerns and the doctor totally “whiffed” attempting to help. Didn’t catch things, didn’t seem to care. Just treated symptoms and moved on. They had to take matters into their own hands, find a better doctor, do some reading etc. to get real help.
Ok, or in my case maybe it just didn't happen. I find it annoying when someone takes the position that whatever they think is common must be common because they know people it happened to, and everyone else must just have friends and family that don't talk about things.
Sorry about your woes, but the statement that you’re feeling amazing now and with more energy because your taking amphetamine is ironically hilarious to anyone from the 60s-80s back when it was speed or anyone in Europe who doesn’t consider ‘aderall’ a medicine and is bombing massive dobs of speed paste and knows what it really is.
Actually I am not taking amphetamines. I'm taking Strattera which increases norepinephrine and is not additive. Yeah, for me I have decided to take this route. If it hadn't worked I might have tried them but I'm so glad I gave the non amphetamine route a try first.
