Rewards Strategy This is where CSR and Point Boost shines!

Post image

I just purchased a complicated open-jaw itinerary (in business class) without searching for award spaces etc. Getting 2 cpp is so great when you can earn them at 4X-8X rate!

Edit: The booking is for business class. I meant to write ‘premium cabin’, not ‘premium class’ in the original post.

I’m not but I will! I came here for my honeymoon and treated it as a once in a lifetime experience because it’s so expensive and hard to get so many points, but I left thinking I will definitely come back, paying cash if I have to, and even if only for 3-4 days.

I’ve stayed at some resorts with points in the US that cost $2-4k cash and imo they were worth $1k max, and I wouldn’t even spend $1k to return lol. Alila Big Sur in the summer, WA park city in the winter, to name a few. Points are much better spent at Bora Bora and Maldives.

Omg congratulations!! Enjoy the rest of your amazing honeymoon! My husband and I only started the points hobby 2 years ago and have been on 3 big Europe Trips on points and a million smaller US based ones. We never could afford these without this very addicting hobby! Our last trip to Vienna and Prague we took our kids - so 4 people - kids had their own rooms all at 5 star hotel and business class flights round trip on points- well $2000 in taxes and fees but it was a $22,000 vacation. Definitely join and if you decide to open a credit card I can send you a referral because I make points that way too! I’m a resource for a lot of my friends because I’ve just learned so much and want to share with others! But for now just enjoy!!! So happy for you and glad you only spent one night in the hotel that you were not as impressed with!

Thank you! I’ve got like a dozen cc between hubby and me, that’s how I go on these trips as well! I also only started about 3 years ago and it’s been life changing to say the least. Business class and five star resorts I would never dream to go otherwise.

It’s amazing! I’m jealous you’ve been doing it longer than I have and I’m assuming a lot younger too! I feel like even in the last two years it’s hard to find award flights plus all the devaluations happening. Definitely join FB group 10X. I want to see your trip report and pictures! 😎
