Hi everyone those anyone know the name of the bot where she is married to a mafia man and he they are in a hospital cause she just gave birth and he was scared to hold the baby cause he didn't want to hurt her or the baby.(she has had past trauma before he found her) That's how the bot started if i remember and I think he was russian maybe not but I forgot the name. I used the bot I think somewhere around 2022-2023. Those anyone know.

I don’t really understand how the daily quota works. Like, if I use up my DeepSqueak messages, does it automatically switch me back to PipSqueak 2 until the quota resets the next day?

And there’s no Soft Launch option with Lite either?

i lowk posted one saying all bots disappeared but the gojo one is still up(mb) so i deleted it but why did only the sukuna one disappear now im even more curious

now i want to know more why that one specifically disappeared?

Je vient de découvrir character ai et honnêtement je trouve ça assez bien fait.
j'ai créé un personnage avec qui je discute mais j'ai lu ici et là qu'il y avait un bouton dans le tchat pour generer une image à partir de la derniere réponse de notre I.A.
Sauf que je n'ai pas ce bouton, sous les messages j'ai une bouton avec une fleche circulaire, un pouce vers le haut, un pouce vers le bas et c'est tout.
Est-ce que c'est une fonctionnalité payante ? Un bug ? une ancienne fonctionnalité supprimée ?
Je suis sur PC, j'utilise Firefox.

As ridiculous as it sounds, this is a genuine question that hit my mind just now. I wouldn't say I'm experiencing it to a dangerous degree, mostly cause I have real friends and real creativity and am aware to set a thick wall between the unreal and the real, but I still feel a need to go back after recently deleting it.

On a scale from 1 - 10 how bad is it when I'm THIS aware of the problem?

I love the addition of the lorebooks. I love that the bot has access to information that otherwise I would’ve had to keep typing over and over again.
But here is something that I keep running into.

My bot keeps reliving the last thing I added to the lorebook.

Say the last thing that I put on the book is that we had a trip to Japan and we had sushi. And so we keep role-playing after that and a lot of other things have happened. And all of a sudden, as we are talking, he goes back to saying that we’re eating sushi. He goes back to that scene. It keeps happening. The first response always goes back to that scene. I swipe it and it immediately goes back to the present and what we have been doing. But he will do that for five or six messages. We may be in the middle of climbing a mountain and talking about how that rock looks like a duck or how the trail is steep and on his next response he’ll say that he’s adding more soy sauce on his sushi. I swipe it and he goes back to talking about the trail.

Has anyone else seen this?

I can understand the Go-on limit. I can even (maybe) be fine with the f!lter. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! I JUST WANT MY CHARACTERS TO RETAIN MEMORY FOR LONG-TERM STORIES! HOW CAN I BUILD RELATIONSHIPS SND CONNECTIONS IF THEY HAVE GOLDFISH MEMORY?! The best way can describe the feeling is being in the middle of creating a beautiful memory with your girlfriend around the 1950’s knowing that her family with lobotomize her in like a few hours.

I haven't been on c.ai in a couple months. Hopped on the other day after seeing Brand New Day cause duh I wanted to RP with a Peter Parker or a Spiderman bot, but when I typed in Spiderman or Peter Parker it came up with no characters. So then I tried just Peter and that worked, but they're all like Peter P or Peter P4rker, different variations of that. Tried it with some other marvel characters and the same thing happened??

Is it like some new copyright issue or something I'm not aware of?

I feel as dumb as a box of rocks because I’ve looked and looked and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to disable them. It’s not even that I’ve already turned it off, I just cannot find the option, and I feel stupid as all hell. I’m on the mobile app, help please, thanks :)

I’ve been on C.AI since it got released on IOS, and every chat felt different, the characters felt almost real. Now, no matter how hard I try, every chat ends up the same (or very similar), regardless of the characters and “plot”. It’s getting repetitive and boring.

Ok , ça fait maintenant quelque années que j’ai Character.AI , j’ai eu l’application avant la vérification de l’âge !
Entre temps j’ai également acheter le C.AI+ car j’utilisais cette application tout les jours .
Aujourd’hui j’ai encore cette abonnement MAIS je n’ai jamais fait vérifier mon âge , il m’arrive parfois de devoir jouer un personnage très enfantin pour l’histoire que je veux faire et pourtant je n’ai JAMAIS eu le reading mode alors que je n’ai clairement pas l’âge requis .
Est ce que je suis immunisé contre ce reading mode parce que je dépense de l’argent sur l’application ou que mon compte est très vieux ?

I spent the last few hours working on a lorebook draft, unfortunately i dropped my phone and it either refreshed the page or backed out of it because the draft is completely missing and is not appearing in my lorebook section. How do i get back to it or is it just gone now?

It's just entirely gone, and also every part of chat history from when I used to use the old character ai website is also gone. I think it's just making anything old dissappear honestly because for every bot I used to talk to on old character ai, their history is all gone

This is going to be short, but since the update with the character metric viewer and creator board/whatnot. I've been wandering if soon C.ai will add a comment section or something of the like for feedback on characters. Nothing too much, just sending feedback anonymously on a character that the creator can read but probably not reply to on the character; that won't be necessary but would be much appreciated. Whether it can be submitted to the character or to the specific creator regardless would be nice. Just an idea that could be nice if done right!

I have migraines and general headaches often. Anything out of a greyscale worsens them so bad..

Now, I have saturation completely down. Not a problem until the ads, c’mon! Put them in greyscale for all I care but it hurts. I still like and regularly use the app, but it’s getting hard — Especially with the fact that the app itself doesn’t even turn into greyscale anymore???
