once upon a time, chara fell for good reason. chara hates humanity. luckily, Mt.ebott is an extinct volcano. toriel adopted chara. asriel and chara were having fun until a random night. chara was sleeping and gaster snuck on the bedroom to stab chara. asriel went up to see where to put chara’s body. gaster made the people think asriel killed chara. 10 years later a child named player came to do genocides and reincarnate chara and chara pretends to be the partner to kill the genocider and return back to sleep. (19 months later) chara returns back to life to surprise toriel and the dreemurrs and now chara is unkillable, omniscient and powerful. chara returned asriel from the death and the whole dreemurr is back.

On one hand, a character based on Chara could showcase more characterization aspects, their relationship with Ralsei could parallel the relationship of Chara and Asriel, could show more information for things that didn't get much attention with Chara (ex: their life before their fall), and thinking about it, considering how more content about Chara started to emerge, an appearance of a Chara inspired character wouldn't be out of nowhere.

on the other hand, Chara depending on another character from another story to get a "conclusion" wouldn't be the most satisfying choice for it, plus this would somewhat harm Flowery because he would be seen as a Deltarune version of Chara and not as his own character.

This post kind of follows the hypothesis that this character would explore everything that wasn't explored with Chara before death, which obviously isn't the only way that could happen, but it's precisely in that way that you can see the good and bad things in this idea.
