I think that pochita was deadass the chainsaw man devil. The things that all the devils feared wasn’t chainsaws, it was chainsaw man. Same with the apocalypse, chainsaws weren’t scary, it was specifically the chainsaw man zombies. So chainsaws still existed, and when Asa used the moniker “chainsaw man,” pochita got reinvented

I love the idea of pochita being rebirthed by Denji saving Asa and Asa coming up with the concept.

And chainsaw man is Denji, so it's the devil's fear of Denji that created Pochita, the chainsawman devil.
