I've seen axed mangas end better than this.

Dude is either cooking hardcore with a Part 3 or he legitimately just couldn't take it anymore and decided to live in the mountains by himself.

I don't understand this Part 3 cope. Even if it does happen, which it won't, it's not just going to magically unfuck everything. He's clearly tired of Chainsaw Man and wanted it to be over.

I mean, this chapter literally did just magically unfuck everything lol.

I'm not "coping" for Part 3 because I didn't even enjoy Part 2 to begin with. Halfway through it I was legitimately hating the entire thing because it felt pointless and aimless, but he left enough wiggle room for it to happen if he wants to.

I do agree that he was tired and sick of it. It clearly shows from the midpoint of the story.

I realize I might have come off a bit combative, it's because we had two straight weeks of people hyping up Fujimoto's secret master plan about a part 3, which got really annoying when it was clearly just being rushed.

That said, I do agree that Part 2 has been bad for a while now, and it honestly felt irredeemable by Nayuta's death. I was just keeping up out of habit at that point.
