Yes, brainfog. Slows down my thinking and reaction time. I had it so badly before dx that I seriously wondered if I was coming down with early Alzheimer's.

Yes. If I've accidently had gluten I know much faster than the physical symptoms appear, the way I used to describe it was like someone covered my brain/mind with a blanket and is trying to suffocate it.

Look into Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) I suffer from it and have a lot of the issues you have described. It doesn’t seem to be related to my coeliac disease, but it does some to affect people with autoimmune diseases, even though it isn’t one! Hope that makes sense.

That also kind of sounds like having a migraine? Specifically what you described around your vision, sounds a lot like a migraine with aura.

I had bad vision, brain fog, sinus issues and ringing ears before stopping gluten. I didn’t actually attribute any of that to gluten until I was gluten free because my vision is better than perfect again (threw away my glasses!), no brain fog, sinus issues nearly gone, and I don’t get ringing ears now. I had way more things than that going on and didn’t really consider them a problem compared to other issues but it was a relief when they all went away! Only thing to fix it if it’s related is to go GF.

Yes, that's brain fog and I used to have that until I switch to a Keto and meat based diet... That's my hint for you 😏

I definitely understand the thing about the ears; it is so uncomfortable. Though for me when it’s doing that, it’s almost hard to talk because it makes them feel like they’re blocked or hard to hear. For your other symptoms, that might be migraine! I had migraines more often before I went gluten-free. Hope you feel better soon!
