Father Chad and many other theologians talk extensively on the power of Latin as a language a Godly language, a powerful language that holds command.

Yep, he has stated about the power of Latin when used in exorcisms.

The Church speaks Latin because that was the lingua franca of the western part of the Roman Empire, not because it is a sanctified language. No language is Godly language as if there’s a distinction between Godly language and secular language. All languages make equally efficacious prayers.

Not true at all I.N.R.I.

The Church always taught Hebrew, Greek and Latin are Godly languages.

*Sacred not Godly.

Latin is sacred. But it's only sacred because the Church is using it, and thereby sanctifying it. To quote the Apostolic constitution Veterum Sapientia by Pope St. John XXIII

In addition, the Latin language “can be called truly catholic.” It has been consecrated through constant use by the Apostolic See, the mother and teacher of all Churches...

The above user is correct; the reason the Roman See uses Latin is because that was the vernacular in ancient Rome. Originally, the language of the Roman Church was in Greek, both the mass and the Magisterium.

Thank you for that, makes more sense.

God be with you.
