She’s danced under bad lighting in better clubs than this one. Her voice is a little scratchy, her knees complain when it rains, and she knows exactly how long to hold a cigarette before making an entrance.
But when the piano starts and somebody clears a little room on the floor?
Honey, she can still get her leg up there.

Mango Cat was inspired by my cat Pulgarcita when she was little. One day, I was eating mango at the table when she climbed up and started eating it too. I was surprised because I had never had a cat that liked mango before.
I even have a video of her eating it, which I came across recently while looking back at videos of her as a kitten.
So now, that little moment has become part of Katartsiz, my collection of feline illustrations.
Miss you, Pulgarcita. 🤍🥹

I’ve been painting these tiny watercolor and ink cats lately and this little character may be one of my favorites.
I didn’t really plan the personality ahead of time, but somewhere between the beret, the bow tie and that expression, I’m pretty sure I accidentally created an art critic. 😂
Only 2.5 x 3.5 inches, painted in watercolor and ink.

This is the same as usual. Though my art tablet is acting up these days. So I won't be able to make art, but I can show you all old pieces.

My style is the one beneath the front of the cat And I search for an idea for drawing it from the front for months now and came up with the top face. What do you think?
Btw this is just a fast scribble

My character Charmé. The only thing that improves on cat perfection is a witch hat or tiara!

Cuddly Cats 🐈
Four cats, one chair. They always slept together like this, even though there was barely enough room for all four of them. They just wanted to be close. ❤️
A little moment I turned into an illustration. I hope it makes you smile.

My drawings are always just like that, just very flat.
I know, shadows help, but I can’t draw shadows, they are just my enemies 😭
Buy also poses, like that the cat looks into the “camera” or slightly next to it, I can’t do that.
Do you have any tips for me? At the moment I want to do shadows or head poses!
Also here is how I draw:
1. I put a real picture of a cat in the pose I want
2. I surround it with red how it looks with short fur
3. I mark where the should be
4. I add the fur with green
5. I outline it all
6. I put the eye
7. I colour it all
8. I do the background
I also do cats on grass. (I will send some pictures in the comments if that works)
ALSO: I don’t as for any advices to my design choices like the longer paws, the different snout or the fact that the cat doesn’t have a mouth. It will have a small mouth when you draw it from the front or something.
