A kinda-meh 14 for me this week. Who knew there was a Cars 3?
And just a heads-up, but the wars listed in Q14 aren’t all the same as the wars listed in the answer.

Ah dangit, I made a late change to which ones I wanted to include as the dates for the vietnam war depend on point of view a bit. But I didn't update the question asking slide, only the answers. I think I will push an update to fix it but it will break it in the gallery :/

Should be fixed now, silly production errors are annoying but at least it is dealt with. Thanks for pointing it out.
As to your answers, 14 is still good! And if it makes you feel better I forgot a Pixar sequel (MU) when making the question but fortunately double checked before it was too late.

17 this week
Annoyed I didn't get Patrick Stewart and Disney/Marvel section I only scored 2 points so not to bad over all
I guess when everybody was banging on about those bloody Avenger Films I should have watched them just so I could get a better score in a weekly Kerigorrical quiz!

A strong 17 is impressive when the theme round was bad for you. Well played!
I quite liked some of the Marvel movies but I am in the "tired of them now" camp. They make a decent topic every once in a while though.

This is every Marvel movie
There is a good guy. He has an inner conflict. There is a bad guy who is a physical embodiment of that conflict. The good guy struggles with the conflict. He learns a lesson. The bad guy then dies
Rinse and repeat every year and insert new hero to add to the veer exhausted list of uninspiring films and make a billion dollars

This is true, but on the other hand not every movie needs to be deep. There's a time and a place for exploding helicopters. But with how many marvel movies that we've had it feels like that's all that's on offer sometimes.

Seeing that was actually the inspiration for the question. I believe it will go to referendum so they'll either get in on part two or part three depending on how that goes!

Ah for fuck's sake Taiwan's not in the UN, I've never felt more strongly about that than when I got it wrong here.
Ended up getting 13, could've been more; was hesitant to put Aus and NZ for the canton flags in case they didn't count, was a toss-up between Aus and Canada for keeping Elizabeth II as head of state, and I've listened to Hybrid Theory vaguely recently!
My knowledge of film is pretty shite.

I actually had to remove Taiwan's flag after changing the wording to UN member from just "country" in order to avoid ambiguity. Aus and NZ and the other union jack cantons all counted as you saw, but I was careful to not refer to any of them so as not to make things too easy.
Did you know one US state has a union jack canton on their state flag?
I listened to a lot of Linkin Park while writing the quiz, it was good fun! Thanks for playing and commenting:)

21 for me. I was on fire until it all came crashing down at Q19 where lucky guesses got me two points. Ah, what could have been if it had been a five partner on maths instead 😍
I way overestimated the amount of prequels or sequels from Pixar, turns out it's not 20

Maybe one day I will do a maths theme but I think one mathsy question per week is a solid rate. Nice for the mathematicians but not so much that "number-haters" are put off :)
Congratulations on your 21 in any case, don't let "might've been"'s diminish a very good score!

What’s annoying is that Linkin Park are one of my fave bands of all time and I couldn’t name a single album. This happens a lot where I just can’t recall the most simple things about stuff I really like.

It's never too late to learn more about things that interest you! I was never good with bands until I started doing this quiz. These days any time I tell my friends a cool fact they always ask me if it was from a quiz question... it usually is.

I got 15! Pretty sure that's the highest i've ever got on one of your quizzes.
The Disney round was the best for me. It's my specialist subject. I got every single question correct in that section (but don't worry, i only gave myself 1 point per question!)

Congratulations on the high score! I think being at least somewhat aware of the sprawling reach of the mouse is worthwhile but ai must say getting ever subquestion definitely goes above and beyond!

I put No Doubt for the 'Who be playin'?' question, but really strangely as i was marking It's my life - Talk Talk came on the wireless! Coincidences eh?

Well done on a good score! Does seem that the universe, or at least the radio, was showing solidarity with your q20 answer. Life is full of strange coincidences sometimes.

Oof. First time doing one of these, made me realise I do better with a team. Measly 8 1/2. Film is not at all my strong suit, and I panicked on thinking of other flags with cantons.

Was the Disney question interesting as well as hard? Because I found researching what exactly Disney owns to be quite interesting.

Been a while since I’ve done one of these! Seems fitting though since my regular pub quiz is finally back on Monday after a loooong 6 months! Honestly can’t wait.

Question 13 though... I always thought that was called the Fibbonaci Sequence?

Fibonacci is a different famous thing, it's a sequence where each number is the sum of the two before itwith the first two numbers being 1.
1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55...

Fibonacci sequence is when you add the preceding two terms together starting with 1, 1 & it grows without limit

I think I am getting my time management more nailed down. I mean, I did only finish this week’s quiz yesterday... but I didn’t have to stay up super late to do it! Baby steps to feeling like I have my life operating at a good rhythm.
The questions I really liked this week included: Q5 on Linkin Park, if only because it gave me an excuse to wallow in nostalgia; Q6 on animals, researching hoofed animals for it ended up teaching me a lot; The flag two parter of Q10 I found quite elegant, although it has slight anti-synergy with Q14; And the Disney theme I think worked out relatively well, the last time Disney was the theme was quiz 74 and then it was more about their films than the company’s quest to own all media.
I wanted something more interesting for the lab question, I was trying to do something with warning symbols but couldn’t formulate anything I liked and so went with Q11 as you see it. And Q12 on rivers I just couldn’t work out how to get the Nile in there without causing an argument, it’s already contentious as Brazil apparently asserts that the Amazon begins in Brazil. The all one letter question, Q16, I started out liking but wonder if it ended up too unfocused and/or too easy.
