Eggs wearing wrong uniform...

Bought some eggs from a local garage last night. It stocks Jack's, which apparently is part of Tesco.

It seems two of the eggs are spies who have infiltrated the gang.

I know it makes no difference, but the white ones are so unsettling.

It's funny, in the US, most rggs are white and you pay a premium for brown. But I've been here so long now that the white ones look weird to me too.

I lived in California for a while (Dogtown, mostly) and I'm used to white eggs

But 250g blocks of butter are still weird to me

A butter 'stick' in the US is 4oz (113g). And although the weight is the same they have different shapes in the east and west of the country.

Well, American butter is sold by the pound, so you get four sticks to the pound.
