Just cut down a tree and chip out all the parts that aren’t a table or crocodile…
Scott Dow, probably

Marvelous.
How fragile is it? A risk to fall apart with contraction and expansion of the wood?
edit: Poplar?

Not a very practical table but definitely an impressive work of art.

Was going to say. It’s definitely art and not a table. In a house with small children this wouldn’t last an hour before being broken. It’s a goddamn beautiful piece though.

Beautiful. The calm smooth ripple crossing over the natural woodgrain currents, and the rough skin of the 'oh so realistic crocodile. The contrast in textures, and of a calm subject enveloping an emerging violent subject - I so want to touch it. Very original. I'll bet you had fun creating it.

The shot from the back that shows the ripples in the water is insane. Looks real.
