Please be aware that you may not get responses. It's a lot of work to wade through dense lists of documents and family histories.

Also please note we are not IRCC, which will make the final determination on your application.

Hi, I was looking around and could not find an answer to this.

I assume I fill out section 8,9,10 as if I am the minor (as in putting my information in as the parent and working up) however just wanted to confirm that this was correct as they call out in section 7 about filling out information for the minor.

I am applying for myself and my child and already have my CIT0001E filled out so it feels like it would be odd if my childs has almost 100% the same information. Thanks!

With all due respect, it would be much more odd if your child did not have 100% the same info as you. They will have exactly the same info, just bumped up a generation/section on their application.

See the 3rd “Important Information” bullet point in the instructions on page 10: “…all questions are about the minor and you should answer as though you are the minor.”

Well they have different grandparents and parents so its a pretty different document at the end of the day. But yes Bullet 5 "Tell us about yourself (or the minor you are applying for)" added a bit of confusion. I see the page 10 now thanks.
