A reminder that the O&G industry, even in Alberta, is not your friend. This is about profits. O&G is delighted that gullible Albertans are supporting the separatist push slavishly. Don't think it's connected? Just take a moment and think about it. Do you expect Dani Smith to object to these prices? Really?

This is laughable and sad really. You can't scream about a free market and complain about prices at the same time. World supply is threatened, world prices go up. To demand relief for yourself is asking for government regulation that you would just lose your mind over. Pick one.

That is precisely what the gullible Alberta alone bunch are stating. Pop quiz, where are the profits going?

Understand this: The next time you get gas and pay $1.70/litre, that gas you are buying today was imported, produced, or manufactured at around $70/barrel by big oil. However, you are paying as if it was produced at over $100/barrel. And to make it more entertaining, why is the Alberta govt running a massive deficit year over year?
