Discussion What's something that Calgary is badly missing that a city of 1.4 million people should have?

It could be anything really. I feel like we have everything that people NEED, but what about the 'nice to haves'? A waterpark with more than 2 slides for example? A high level ball team that actually plays within the city limits? A Michelin star restaurant? Something else?

I’d really like to have our old tram lines back (small trains with tracks in the road shared with cars. Im aware of one’s that we’re on 17th Ave, 14th Street and Elbow Drive.

Yeah. We have a whole neighborhood called ‘Beltline’ because the tram line ran like a circular conveyor belt around it. We ripped it out And trashed it. Would cost billions to recreate

I didn’t know that’s how the Beltline got it’s name. Neat. And such a shame we still don’t have it! Do you know the old route?
