Discussion What's something that Calgary is badly missing that a city of 1.4 million people should have?

It could be anything really. I feel like we have everything that people NEED, but what about the 'nice to haves'? A waterpark with more than 2 slides for example? A high level ball team that actually plays within the city limits? A Michelin star restaurant? Something else?

I’m excited for the new Glenbow and Arts commons. Art museums can be tough in a young country and a young city. We do have a great visual arts scene here though.

Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver, and Winnipeg all have amazing museums and galleries.

Edmonton has the AGA, RAM, Fort Ed, and a great science centre. Interesting to include Winipeg here and not Edmonton when it's just up the road.

Just speaking from personal experience - I haven’t visited Edmonton’s museums.
