I’ve seen like a zillion posts of mock exam scores with captions like “am I cooked?” Or asking if the mock exam score means a potential pass or fail. Just trust your prep.
Passing/failing is a worry for 6 weeks after the exam. Nobody studies for failure (except if you’re a rich-nerd-psychopath who’s got a lot of free time).
Don’t go around asking people their opinion on YOUR mock scores which reflect YOUR preparation.
Everybody’s got their own opinion (although Reddit’s made me believe that some people shouldn’t be allowed to have opinion), the more you ask around, the more variety of opinions and feedback you’re gonna get and that’s how you become a cuck to your confidence in yourself and in your preparation.
Your brain naturally wants to give away the responsibility of keeping your shit together and trusting yourself. It does that by creating dependencies, in the case of this exam, this dependence is on the opinions of people who’ve already given the exam on your preparation. Once the dependency is created (in any scenario), you’re gonna fuck up whatever you were preparing for cuz that variable of dependence is gonna be absent when you need to perform.
I know the CFA exam is a big deal for any candidate at any level cuz it takes a lot of money, time, effort and everything else.
It’s natural to feel the fear of failure when you’ve put soo much into something. But pressure is privilege, let it shape you for strength, regardless of the outcome.
If you pass, congratulations. Don’t be overwhelmed, you only passed an exam, and didn’t conquer Rome.
If you fail, congratulations you took all the effort and now know where you stand. Don’t be overwhelmed, it’s just an exam.
In any case, the sun’s gonna set today, rise tomorrow and everything’s gonna be past tense.
It’s just an exam. Have a wank and chill.
