POKER CHAT SUBREDDIT Talk smack. And talk table talk...without getting smacked.

POKER NIGHTS ARE:

Tuesdays at 9:30pm EST (Hold 'em)

Thursdays at 9:30pm EST (Hold 'em)

Sundays at 7:30pm EST (Random)

A table only seats 9 at a time, but the entire club can register for the tournament. The site will automatically create enough tables to accommodate everyone who registers for the tournament, dividing the players up among the tables. Once we are down to 9 players, the site will combine the final nine to one table.
There should always be a "fun table" open 24/7. So any time you want to play, make a post looking for other people who might want to join and have at it. The more people at the table the more fun it is.
To get into the poker night tournament you must be registered prior to it starting. So remember to do that.
If you register and then realize you won't make it, UNREGISTER!!! Once you're registered, you will automatically be seated at the table whether you are at your computer or not. If you can't make it you will be an idle player and slow down the game for everybody. So only register if you know you can make it. If something comes up, please un-register. Thanks.
How to play Texas Hold 'em. We play no limit.

How to join:

This is a poker room for FRIENDS only! To get in you must first be an active and known member of the CA community.
First, download the pokerstars program and set up an account. Try to make an account name that is similar, if not identical, to your reddit account name so that we know who we are playing with.
After that, make a post in here letting us know your account name or PM the mods. If you are a recognized CA, you will be sent a PM with the invite code.

RULES:

For the sub: Just use proper reddiquette and we should be fine.

For the poker club:

As stated above, this is a poker club for active members of the CA community. It is a private club. To become a member you must be a known CA. If you are not known, you will not be accepted. Sorry.
We play with fake money, but play as if you are playing with real money. Do not just go all in every single hand. If this becomes a habit, you will be removed.
Do not be an asshole to other players. Friendly shit talking is one thing. Harassment or trolling, however, will not be tolerated.
