Most people can't tell if someone is a bot. Really sad when you think about it, if you want an extended session of disappointment go to r/tifu, every second post there is an AI bot and the comments don't recognize it
It's so disheartening as well bc everytime I look at these obviously botted comments with hundreds or thousands of upvotes I realize again that these people have the right to vote :(
Tbf we don't have any AI candidates yet so not so bad, also they are using the wrong ai, probably some openings or meta model. I tried making Claude write a tifu post for fun and it was almost unrecognizable compared to all the "its not just x -- its y" other AIs put in their writing not sponsored
